  • 1 teaspoon Pepper Adjust according to personal taste.
  • 2 teaspoons Italian Seasoning Can be adjusted based on preference.
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley Optional garnish for added freshness and color.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Lightly grease the inside of your slow cooker with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  2. Place the seasoned chicken breasts at the bottom of the crockpot and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Scatter the minced garlic over the chicken and pour chicken broth around the edges.
Cooking
  1. Secure the lid and set the slow cooker to low for about 4 hours.
  2. After cooking, shred the chicken directly in the pot using two forks.
  3. Add heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese, stirring well before incorporating the tortellini.
  4. Cook on high for another 30 minutes until heated through.
Serving
  1. Finish with a sprinkle of fresh parsley on top just before serving.

Notes

Consider serving with a crisp salad or crusty garlic bread. For variations, substitute chicken with chickpeas for a vegan option or add red pepper flakes for spice.
