Preparation
- Lightly grease the inside of your slow cooker with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
- Place the seasoned chicken breasts at the bottom of the crockpot and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Scatter the minced garlic over the chicken and pour chicken broth around the edges.
Cooking
- Secure the lid and set the slow cooker to low for about 4 hours.
- After cooking, shred the chicken directly in the pot using two forks.
- Add heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese, stirring well before incorporating the tortellini.
- Cook on high for another 30 minutes until heated through.
Serving
- Finish with a sprinkle of fresh parsley on top just before serving.
Notes
