  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth Can substitute with vegetable broth.

Preparation
  1. Chop broccoli into bite-sized pieces, keeping florets roughly the same size.
  2. Season each chicken breast with salt and pepper. Pat dry for better seasoning adherence.
  3. Whisk together cream of chicken soup, garlic powder, onion powder, and chicken broth until smooth in a bowl.
  4. Place chicken in the crockpot and pour the creamy mixture over it, stirring gently to coat.
  5. Add broccoli on top and mix lightly to prevent overcooking.
Cooking
  1. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until chicken is tender.
  2. Stir in shredded cheddar cheese just before serving.

Notes

Stir cheese in at the end for a creamy texture. Add broccoli in the last hour to maintain crispness.
