- Pour in the chicken broth, then layer the minced garlic and lemon slices over the chicken.
Cooking
- Cover your slow cooker and set it to low, allowing it to cook for about 6 hours.
- When done, shred the chicken in the slow cooker using two forks.
- Add the rice and stir it gently to combine with the chicken and broth.
- Cover and continue cooking on low for an additional 30 minutes.
Serving
- Garnish with fresh parsley and extra lemon wedges before serving.
Notes
Letting the dish sit for a few minutes after cooking allows the rice to soak up any remaining broth. Adjust seasoning if needed before serving.
