  • 4 pieces boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt or sour cream Greek yogurt is recommended for moisture.
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese Freshly grated melts better than pre-grated.
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika Optional, for color.
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley or chives, chopped For garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix Greek yogurt, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
  3. Place the chicken breasts in the baking dish, pat dry, and spread the yogurt mixture evenly over the top.
Baking
  1. Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and the topping is golden and slightly bubbly.
  2. Sprinkle with fresh parsley or chives before serving and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Serve with rice, mashed potatoes, or roasted vegetables. For variations, consider vegan options using tofu or mushrooms. Adjust seasonings for a milder or spicier dish as desired.
