Preparation
- Finely chop the onion, mince the garlic, and slice the mushrooms.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil until shimmering.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula; cook until browned (about 5-7 minutes), seasoning with salt and pepper while cooking.
- Push the beef to one side and add chopped onion and mushrooms; sauté until soft and golden (about 4-5 minutes), then add garlic for the last minute.
- Stir everything together, pour in beef broth and soy sauce to deglaze the pan, scraping up any browned bits, and let simmer for 3-4 minutes.
- Taste and adjust seasoning, then sprinkle parsley and Parmesan on top before serving.
