Preparation

- Set up a breading station: flour in one bowl, beaten eggs and milk in another, and pretzel crumbs in a third.
- Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip in the egg mixture, and coat thoroughly with pretzel crumbs.
Cooking
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and fry each chicken breast for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and bake for 15-20 minutes or until thoroughly cooked.
Sauce Preparation
- In a saucepan over low heat, combine mustard, cheddar cheese, and a splash of milk, stirring until melted and smooth.
Serving
- Serve chicken drizzled with the mustard-cheddar sauce.
Notes
For best results, allow chicken to rest after baking to seal in juices. Experiment with the sauce by adding spices like smoked paprika or garlic powder.
