Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • ½ cup full-fat mayonnaise Use full-fat mayo for the creamiest texture.
  • 1 Tbsp dijon mustard Can substitute with yellow mustard for milder tang.
  • 1 Tbsp ketchup Use no-sugar-added ketchup to reduce sweetness.
  • 1 tsp kosher dill pickle brine Use fresh pickle juice for best flavor.
  • tsp cayenne pepper Adjust to taste; optional for milder version.
  • Salt and black pepper To taste.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a small bowl, combine ½ cup full-fat mayonnaise, 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard, 1 tablespoon ketchup, 1 teaspoon dill pickle brine, and ⅛ teaspoon cayenne pepper.
  2. Stir until smooth and well blended.
  3. Taste the sauce, then season with salt and black pepper to your liking. Mix again before serving.

Notes

Serve the sauce slightly chilled or at room temperature. For a smoother texture, whisk the mayo before adding other ingredients. Let the sauce sit for 10 to 15 minutes for better flavor integration. Store in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 5 days.
