- Toss chicken with cornstarch, salt, and pepper.

- Stir in sauce ingredients and return chicken.
- Simmer until thickened, about 3-4 minutes.
- If the sauce seems thin, stir in the cornstarch slurry until it reaches a glossy consistency.
- Garnish and serve with rice or noodles.
Notes
Use firm tofu as a vegetarian alternative. Cornstarch helps achieve a crisp coating.
