  • 2 breasts chicken breasts, grilled and sliced Use pre-cooked or rotisserie chicken for quicker preparation.
  • 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce Homemade teriyaki sauce can enhance flavor.
  • 4 large flour tortillas Swap for whole grain or gluten-free varieties if desired.
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce Choose the freshest lettuce for optimal crunch.
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots Add vibrant color to your wrap.
  • 1/2 cup sliced cucumbers Layer at the bottom of the wrap to prevent sogginess.
  • 1/4 cup sliced green onions Adds flavor and color.
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish) Sprinkle on top before serving.

Cooking the Chicken
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the chicken breasts until they are fully cooked through, achieving an internal temperature of 165°F. Remove and let cool before slicing into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Drizzle the teriyaki sauce over the sliced chicken and stir gently until all pieces are well-coated in the delicious sauce.
Preparing the Wraps
  1. Lay out the tortillas on a clean surface or plate. Generously portion the teriyaki chicken into the center of each tortilla.
  2. Layer shredded lettuce, carrots, cucumber, and green onions on top of the chicken.
  3. Fold the sides of each tortilla inwards, then roll it up tightly from the bottom to the top, forming a full wrap.
  4. Slice the wraps in half diagonally, sprinkle with sesame seeds for garnish, and serve immediately for maximum taste and texture.

Notes

For deeper flavor, consider marinating the chicken in teriyaki sauce for at least 30 minutes before cooking. Store leftovers in airtight containers in the fridge.
