  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs Panko can be used for lighter texture; can also use gluten-free crumbs.
  • 1/4 cup feta cheese, crumbled Use good-quality block feta for better texture.
  • 1/4 cup parsley, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 large egg Can replace with 3 tablespoons yogurt for egg-free version.
  • Olive oil for cooking
For serving
  • Tzatziki sauce Essential for serving.
  • Vegetables (like cucumbers, bell peppers) For an additional side.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, feta cheese, parsley, garlic, oregano, salt, pepper, and the egg. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form mixture into meatballs about 1 inch in diameter.
Cooking
  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Cook meatballs in batches until browned and cooked through, about 10-12 minutes.
Serving
  1. Serve warm with tzatziki sauce and your favorite veggies.

Notes

Use a cookie scoop for even meatball sizes. Avoid overmixing to keep the texture light and tender.
